ERA was founded on providing 24-hour emergency spill response 365 days of the year and has successfully carried out spill related duties since day one. We are recognized within the industry for responding to release scenarios of all sizes with a management team possessing a combined 50+ years of experience. Highly trained and experienced personnel, combined with specialized equipment and expertise, allows us to complete initial containment and recovery through to final reclamation on any release in a terrestrial or aquatic environment.

ERA’s experience gives us unique insight into the equipment requirements of small and large-scale release scenarios, leading us to build response vessels, trailers, and permanent equipment caches. We have the capability and experience to build specialized response units to your company’s specifications.
Trainings
ERA’s specialized team has developed a reputation for professional and practical training in response scenarios. We conduct training courses for all aspects of emergency management. ERA will tailor training to client specific requirements and will work with you to develop training programs for your company.
Geographicl Response Plan
ERA has developed spill contingency manuals for the oil and gas industry and transportation sector to supplement existing Emergency Response Plans and for use as a stand-alone document during a release event. Era is a leader in Control Point Mapping and has developed extensive systems throughout North America to be used by operational personnel in the event of a release to achieve timely containment.
Wildlife Management
ERA has extensive experience with wildlife mitigation and management. Our dedicated staff build relationships with regulators and wildlife rehabilitation facilities to keep abreast of the dynamic permitting and regulatory requirements regarding wildlife. Our staff serve our clients best by ensuring the rigorous application of defensible wildlife mitigation and handling.
Low Impact Responses
ERA understands the importance of a low impact approach which can reduce the disturbance and overall footprint of the response activities. ERA’s knowledge, innovation, and advanced techniques reduce response and reclamation costs through accelerated natural recovery of sensitive ecosystems. ERA is an industry leader in applying the Shoreline Assessment and Cleanup Tool (SCAT) to minimize invasive remediation within sensitive ecosystems.
Environmental Assessment
Pre/Post Distrubance
ERA’s skilled management team has completed pre-disturbance and post-disturbance assessments for proposed projects, expansions, large linear disturbances, and emergency access for numerous clients across North America. We offer clients insight into the environmental sensitivities, regulatory requirements, and best practices to develop projects in an efficient and sustainable manner that ensures regulatory compliance during operation and equivalent land capability after reclamation.
Environmental Site Assessment
ERA has experienced professionals who have completed assessments from the initial Phase I to complex soil and groundwater delineation programs. ERA understands ESA services is a key element for understanding and managing liabilities and is crucial in developing cost sensitive plans that focuses on site closure. Our cross-discipline experience has allowed us to develop new and innovative approaches in capturing and communicating environmental data. Other services are available upon request.
Aquatic Services
ERA retains skilled professionals and works closely with Qualified Aquatic Environmental Specialists (QAES) and Qualified Wetland Science Practitioners (QWSP) holding industry leading experience within the Water Act; Codes of Practice (CoP); EPEA; and CCME, MOE, and AEP water quality guidelines.
